The Wombats | helloitslisa

LETS DANCE TO JOY DIVISION! Me and my friends went to watch The Wombats at Alexandra Palace back at the start of October and it was amazing. Literally, we wasn't standing near the stage and the view we had was perfecto! (You can see from the pictures below).
Inside Alexandra Palace when you walk in there was many food stalls and most importantly the thing that caught my attention was the fairy lights... come on, fairy lights are just the cutest. Looked so cool and very indie.
The atmosphere inside was just brilliant, the music was super loud and everyone was dancing and singing together. Luckily we didn't get thrown in any mosh pits, thank gosh. I would've got taken down right away let me tell ya, lol.

I have booked a few more gigs and festivals to go to over the next few months. Scouting for girls next month, Marina and the Diamonds in Feb and V Fest in August. Very very excited. I have many more to plan with my friends which I am super excited about. I shall keep you updated with pictures and everything.

Thank you for reading, hope that you all are well.
Take care.

Love from Lisa :)

A visit to the Sky Garden | helloitslisa

September 3rd 2015
What a day. I visited the Sky Garden with one of my good friends Shelby. We've been wanting to visit the Sky Garden for such a long time and have had this day planned for a while. Literally... we were so excited to get up there to see the view and to take pictures.
I've seen so many people post pictures from up above and it looked amazing, I just had to go and check the place out myself.
When we got there we entered through the main entrance which looked so posh. It felt like I was checking in at an airport to go on holiday. It was very strange but so cool. The lift up to the top floor was strangely very smooth and not scary at all. It took us up in under 2 minutes which was wicked! As soon as we walked out of the lift you could just see a bright room with long windows outlooking over London. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Seeing London from above was spectacular. I stood outside and just had a few minutes to take in the beautiful scenery. It was amazing. At first I did feel a bit overwhelmed and anxious but as I was walking around I started to feel more relaxed and normal.
On the slopes inside there is beautiful greenery. Lots of green plants going up. I love the the way it looked, made me feel like I was in an exotic country. Unfortunately I wasn't... cry. However, it did look pretty cool and very instagram worthy. (yes I did post lots of instagram posts from today).

If you're in and around London, I would defiantly recommend going up to the Sky Garden. It was a brilliant experience and whats even better is that it's FREE. Yes you heard me, free. You just have to book in advance on their website and then boom... you are done!

Here are some pictures from today that I wanted to share with you... enjoy!

Clearly enjoying the greenery outside, love me some green plants!

There are seats plotted everywhere inside for you to rest. You can also order drinks at the bar which is lovely.

How beautiful right?
I don't know about you, but I love green plants. There's just something about them that I adore.

If you get the chance to go here, defiantly go and take lots and lots of pictures.

Thank you for reading, Lots of love
Lisa :)
